Weinberg, Samantha

Samantha Weinberg is a British novelist, journalist and travel writer. Author of books such as A Fish Caught in Time: The Search for the Coelacanth and the James Bond-inspired trilogy The Moneypenny Diaries under the alias Kate Westbrook. She currently resides in Wiltshire, England.

In 2006, Weinberg also published two short stories: “For Your Eyes Only, James” and “Moneypenny’s First Date With Bond”, both of which appeared in UK magazines. Weinberg is the first woman to write officially licenced Bond-related literature, although Johanna Harwood had previously co-written the screenplay for Dr No and had adapted From Russia with Love for the screen.
