Foucan, Sébastien

Sébastien Foucan (born May 24, 1974) is a French actor of Guadeloupean descent. He is reckoned to be one of the second-generation founders of parkour.

More similar to a martial art than to a sport, Parkour focuses on moving from one point to another as smoothly, efficiently and quickly as possible using the abilities of the human body. It is built on the philosophical premise that any obstacle, physical or mental, can be surpassed.

Foucan appeared as Mollaka in the 2006 James Bond film, Casino Royale. He spent three months in the Bahamas filming his role in the movie. A stunt double was used for portions of the opening chase scene. Besides this, Sébastien appeared in the music video for Madonna’s 2005 single, ‘Hung Up’ and accompanied Madonna on her 2006 Confessions Tour.
